At the moment I am playing a 5 piece drumset and a 5 piece cymbal set-up as well as the drumKAT midi controller from Alternate Mode.

Drums: 8x8" Tom, 10x10" Tom, 13x11" Tom, 22x16" Bass Drum, 14x5 1/2" Mahagony Snare Drum.

Cymbals: Agop Istanbul Alchemy Series: 14" Hi Hat(Sweet on top/Rock on bottom), 15" Medium Crash, 12" Splash, 21" Medium Ride, 17" Medium Crash.

drumKAT(left hand side above hihat): Turbo 2000 model with built-in 300 patch sound modul; today's most advanced midi drum controller, 10 independent rubber playing pads, 9 trigger inputs, 128 alternate note chains per pad and trigger input, 4 note multimodes, motif sequences, transpose modes, MSB and LSB midi commands, and much more. That's how I trigger all those wonderful percussion and keyboard sounds.

Drumsticks: Vater Manhatten 7A & Fusion

This grove is a combination of a fast jack-swing and a Jeff Porcaro type shuffle. Make sure that you play all non accented notes as ghost notes. If it seems difficult in the beginning, drop the ghost notes and add them later when you feel more comfortable. Then experiment with it and have fun.
